Sardine scrambled eggs
Scrambled eggs is a great choice for a simple but at the same time hearty breakfast! Make scrambled eggs more interesting by adding Portuguese sardines to the dish and seasoning it with dry chicken broth spices.
Composition of the sardine scrambled egg recipe:
1 teaspoon cooking oil or butter
1 chopped onion
1 can of Portuguese sardines in olive oil
½ chicken stock cube
½ cup of water
3 eggs
How to make sardine scrambled eggs
To preserve the softness and creaminess of scrambled eggs, cook them over low heat and take your time.
Start by sauteing the chopped onions with a little oil in a medium-sized pan over medium-high heat.
Add the Portuguese canned sardines, water and chicken stock cube. Reduce the heat to a minimum and wait until it boils and the cube of spices is completely dissolved.
Gradually add the egg mixture to the pan. Start with 1/2 portion, wait for the eggs to set before adding the rest of the egg mixture.
Serve hot and enjoy with a toasted slice of your favorite bread.
