Portuguese sardine and pineapple hot sandwich
This hot sandwich is a good combination of fruit and fish. This sandwich has a rather unusual combination of ingredients, making it a recipe worth noting. A rather quick meal will provide a new, positive taste experience.
Ingredients for the recipe:
4 slices of bread
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
A pinch of salt and ground black pepper
2 teaspoons of marmalade
4 potato chips
2 pieces of pineapple, thinly sliced
1-2 cans of Portuguese sardines (drain the fish)
Method of preparation:
- Preheat the sandwich maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Spread mayonnaise on 2 slices of bread. Spread marmalade on top.
- Sprinkle with crushed potato chips.
- Place pineapple slices on the chips
- Put the Portuguese sardines in a bowl and mash them with a fork. Divide among the slices
- Season with salt and pepper; cover with the remaining 2 slices of bread.
- Bake in a preheated sandwich maker until the sandwiches are browned and crispy, about 5 minutes.
